At Halesowen swimming club, swimmers of all levels are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential in the sport.

About Us

Welcome to Halesowen Swimming Club.

​

Founded in 1963, Halesowen SC has a great tradition of being an inclusive, family-orientated swimming club. Run by a strong group of volunteers, the club have something to offer for every level of swimming ability.

 

From learning to swim, swimming for fitness all the way through to swimming competitions such as National Qualifiers!

We are aiming to host a Long Distance meet on the 12th of November at the Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry.
This will be for 400's, 800 & 1500m events.

Learn to Swim 

Learning the fundamentals and improving confidence in the water - Minimum age 5

​

> Now offering sessions for

children aged 3-5.
 

These sessions aim to boost confidence in the water through play and gentle exposure to aquatic skills.

Girls Swimming Underwater

Skill Development

For swimmers aspiring to achieve Worcester County qualifying times.

​Minimum age 8

Swimmer

Foundation

This group is for swimmers learning the correct techniques on all strokes.

​

Minimum age 7

Professional Swimmer

Continued Development

Junior swimmers with one Worcester County Qualifying time or aspiring to get to Worcester County age group finals.

​

​Minimum age 10

Professional Swimmer

Transition

The first step towards “Senior” swimming. Must have a Worcester County Qualifying Time, and will be aiming for Worcester County podiums and Regional Qualifying Times.

​

​Minimum age 12

Swim Coach

Prepare

This phase is for swimmers with numerous Worcester County Qualifying Times and should be for those aiming for Regional Qualifying Times.

​

​Minimum age 14

Professional Swimmer

Performance

Swimmers with numerous Regional Qualifying Times and are aiming for National Qualifying Times and beyond.
